The first thing you need to do is purchase all the items you will need for making homemade chocolates and can be found at any craft shop. You will need to take your time when choosing moulds as there are hundreds of different designs available as well as festive moulds.
Now you need to buy the chocolate which is sold in fairly large slabs and you need to choose the flavours you like either dark, white or milk chocolate. Once that is done you can then purchase many different little packets with fillings in like nuts and orange peel etc.
Now you have all the items you will need as well as ingredients so let’s begin making homemade chocolates and you can invite some friends over to help or if you have children let them also join in the fun as well.
Firstly you need to melt the chocolate and this can be done over a double boiler or in a microwave or in the oven. Get all your moulds ready and once the chocolate has melted you will gently pour the chocolate into the moulds only half filing them then add your nuts and other fillings and then fill the mould to the top with melted chocolate again.
Once you have filled all your moulds up make sure there are no air bubbles if there are just bang the tray on the table gently till the bubbles have disappeared and then refrigerate. Once the chocolates have set you can then remove them from the moulds and can either pack them into a box or pack them into a bottle and they are ready to eat.
